Now in its 20th year, this community-wide event celebrates Irish history and culture with fun activities for all. This year’s parade will take place on March 7, kicking off at noon at Columbus Park and extending to Latham Park.

As the city’s second-largest parade, the Stamford St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the community’s most beloved traditions.This year, the parade will honor Grand Marshals Bill and Evon Malloy, a husband and wife duo located in Stamford. Guests of all ages are welcome to join in the festivities as the performers highlight the history and tradition of St. Patrick’s Day. The parade is comprised of groups and organizations from all over the community, including pipe bands, local school bands, police and fire departments and community organizations. With last year’s event featuring over 80 groups, this year’s parade is sure to be spectacular!

This year’s parade will feature several talented groups, many of them Connecticut natives. Founded in 1886, the Stony Creek Fife and Drum Corps embody the parade’s spirit of tradition by remaining active in parades and events throughout the New England area. Guests of the parade will also hear the Colchester Continental Fife and Drum Corps, a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the music of the Early American Era though music and marching. Additionally, the parade will feature the Manchester Regional Police and Fire Pipe Band (MRPF), who have performed throughout New England and New York as well as in Switzerland and Germany.
