See Menopause the Musical in Stamford

By

1x1logomtmThe musical that has produced laughs nationwide will be at the Stamford Center for the Arts beginning next Tuesday, September 22nd. Ladies will probably want to the leave the men at home and make an memorable girls night out by attending Menopause the Musical. Set in a department store where four women with seemingly nothing in common but a black lace bra meet by chance. The musical pokes fun at hot flashes, memory loss, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and eating binges. This joyful musical parody, set to 25 classic baby-boomer songs from “Puff, My God I’m Draggin” to the disco favorite “Stayin’ Away, Stayin’ Awake”, will have you cheering and dancing in the aisles!

There is a reason the show has become a nationwide phenomenon, and now is your chance to see it in Stamford. The show runs from Tuesday to Friday with an 8:00 p.m. start time, which means you’ll have time to catch a dinner prior to the show. For those that live in the downtown Stamford apartments, The Townhouse, making dinner and the show will be a breeze. You can easily walk home, change into evening-out clothes, then walk to meet the girls at the restaurant and walk to the theatre from there. As you can see, there’s nothing like living downtown, and the Townhouse makes it affordable and easy to do so.
