Register for Bowl-2-Benefit to Prevent Domestic Violence

By

Bowl-2-BenefitBowl a strike against domestic violence at BHcare’s 27th annual Bowl-2-Benefit, coming up this Saturday, March 14 at AMF Milford Lanes. With all proceeds benefiting the Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence, this event is a great opportunity to support a great cause and have some family fun at the same time!

Nearing its 30-year anniversary, this event is held by BHcare every year to raise donations for victims of domestic violence. Attracting over 1,200 people from the community, Bowl-2-Benefit is the largest fundraising event held by BHcare each year. In addition to providing much-needed contributions toward outreach and prevention, this event is a fantastic opportunity for friends, families, youth groups, religious organizations, clubs and other civic groups to have a great time!

Attendees of Bowl-2-Benefit must register for one of the event’s bowling sessions, held at 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. There will be four to five bowlers per lane, and each participant will receive 90 minutes of open bowling, shoe rental, an event t-shirt, a soft drink and the chance to win some exciting prizes. If you’re not the most experienced bowler, don’t worry! All ages and skills are welcome, and it’s all in the name of charitable fun. There is a $5 bowler registration fee due before the event, and each participant is asked to try and raise $50 in pledges to support the Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence. Pledges can be gathered easily through BHcare’s online fundraising tools and pledge materials, and most bowlers reach their goal within just a few days of sharing their request for donations on social media.

BHcare provides services for behavioral health, prevention and domestic violence to improve the lives and health of individuals, families and communities.
