If not, there is plenty going on within minutes of your Norwalk, Ct. apartment, including the 6th Annual Blues, Views & BBQ Festival. Located just minutes from Norwalk in Westport, Ct., this two-day festival will allow you to taste some delicious BBQ while spending a fun-filled day with friends and family.

Highlights of the festival include an adults and kids BBQ competition, eating contests, cooking demos, Kids’ Corral of free fun and bouncy amusements, food court, craft brews and much more. Festival goers will enjoy all of this while listening to 14 different musical acts including Royal Southern Brotherhood, Cactus and Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds.

This year’s festival will once again be held along the banks of the Saugatuck River on the grounds of the Levitt Pavilion and the Westport Library. Weekend activities will be on Saturday, August 31 from 11 .m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, September 1 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission to the festival varies depending on age and if you purchase a one- or two-day pass. Free parking is available throughout town.
