Beardsley Zoo logoHunting for Fourth of July fun for the whole family this Friday? You’ll find just what you’re looking for at Beardsley Zoo! From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 4, guests at the zoo can participate in a Red, White and Blue Animal Scavenger Hunt.

Can you find the blue poison dart frog, the red wolf, the white swans, and all the other animals sporting their own naturally patriotic colors? This self-guided tour is sure to entertain and challenge children to look closely at the zoo’s many colorful animals and find which ones are decked out in red, white, and blue.

Visitors can also look forward to a special “Animal Bytes” presentation all about our national bird, the American Bald Eagle!

Aside from the Fourth of July scavenger hunt and festivities, visitors will be able to view a wide variety of species at the zoo’s display of more than 300 animals! From taking a camel ride to checking out the new baby otters, there is plenty of fun for the whole family at the zoo!
