Stamford’s Annual Charity Chili Cook-Off will be hosted at the SM&NC this year with proceeds benefitting SM&NC and The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County. With both the Chili Cook-Off and Touch-A-Truck hosted on the same day at SM&NC, Sunday is a great time for residents of Stamford apartments to enjoy a day with family and friends.

Stew Leonards Halloween Fun near Norwalk ApartmentsAre you looking for something a little less spooky to enjoy with your family this Halloween season? If so, stop by Stew Leonard’s and check out all of the family-friendly events it has going on throughout October. Located just minutes away from Norwalk apartments at Morningisde Gardens, Stew Leaonard’s is the place to be this Halloween season.

On Friday nights, the Hoedown grill is transformed into the Hay Bale Theater where families will enjoy kid-friendly holiday movies. Next on the schedule includes Bugs Bunny Halloween Special and the classic It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. Movies are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. with seating opening at 6:30 p.m., so make sure you arrive early to get a good seat. Admission to the movies is free and complimentary juice and popcorn will be served to everyone.

Seven days a week, visitors to Stew Leonard’s can take a trip on the Halloween Hayride Spooktacular. This 15 minute, family-friendly hayride travels through a course of more than 20 vignettes, including scenes of popular movie and televisions characters, a musical light show and traditional holiday settings. The Halloween Hayride Spooktacular is $1 per person and runs Monday through Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

It would not be Halloween without a little trick-or-treating and some candy. On Friday, Oct. 25 from 5 to 6 p.m., children will have the opportunity to trick-or-treat with Stew Leonard’s famous characters, including mascot Wow the Cow. Children can either bring their own bags or Stew Leonard’s will provide one for them. Parents looking to capture the memory on film will want to make sure they get a photo of their children with Wow the Cow.
