Although they take place all year round, it is primarily the summer months that are packed with activities either featuring or including everything and anything renaissance to contemporary from arts and crafts to film and foods of every type and variety, flea markets, fireworks, entertainment of every style and tons of fun stuff for kids.

Since Connecticut is one of the New England States with a rich agricultural heritage, many of the fairs and festivals are centered around agriculture and livestock. You can check out a wide selection of these festivals and fairs at sites such as CTFairs.com. If you’re a faire-goer, you’re in luck, because this year, it is not only Connecticut, but all of New England just bursting with these happenings. Morningside Gardens is centrally located for doing good deeds all around Norwalk

There's so much good that residents of our Morningside Gardens can do in the diverse city

Residents of our Morningside Gardens Norwalk apartments already know what a unique place Norwalk is. Set right on the shoreline of Long Island Sound, Norwalk is made up of a collection of diverse neighborhoods and communities. In the southwest corner bordering Darien lies Rowayton. Bordering both Darien and New Canaan in the northwest corner is West Norwalk. The northeast corner next to Wilton and Westport is known as Cranbury. East Norwalk is also adjacent to Westport in the southeast corner of the city. Between West Norwalk and Cranbury is the Silvermine section. South Norwalk encompasses a large area between Rowayton and East Norwalk. Even with all that, there are many other areas and communities within Norwalk known by their own unique name: Broad River, Harbor View, Norwalk Center, Shorefront Park, Village Creek, Wilson Point and Winnipauk, to name a few.

No matter what your area of interest, hobby or passion, there’s likely a group or organization of like-minded folks just waiting to meet you in Norwalk! For starters there are the neighborhood associations such as the East Norwalk Improvement Association. These folks work to keep their neighborhood clean, help keep up neighborhood gardens and promote issues of concern to they and their neighbors at town hall meetings. Read More→
