Sunrise over beach near downtown Stamford apartments

Spring means it's a new dawn for beach, outdoors and shopping fun for residents of our downtown Stamford apartments!

It seems every day I’m speaking to people who are new to the area and when they ask me what there is to do in Stamford I just smile. I love bragging about all the benefits of living here in our downtown Stamford apartments. The residents of our Hoyt Bedford, Morgan Manor and Townhouse apartment communities are perfectly situated to take advantage of so many activities it’s hard not to brag!

Are beaches and water sports your thing? Stamford has four beaches and five harbor areas located just a five minute drive from downtown. You can take your car or hop on one of the many city busses and spend the rest of the day sunning, swimming or walking in the surf collecting shells. Jet skis are for rent in the West Beach marina and fishing permits are available for any of the waterfront areas. Playgrounds, public tennis courts, picnic and outdoor cooking areas give everyone something to do to enjoy a day at the shore. Read More→

Outdoor art coming soon to Stamford rental apartments

Its almost time to enjoy a season of wonderful outdoor art around our Stamford rental apartments!

Our Stamford rental apartment communities are not new to downtown Stamford – in fact they’ve led the pack in downtown living for the last fifty years or so! But where today it’s easy to find slender, glass towers or brushed steel factory loft units, you’ll find there’s a growing appreciation for things like our bricked walkways curving under mature shade trees past professionally landscaped flower beds or the tastefully designed Asian water garden. Georgian brick architecture, balconies and terraces big enough to fit more than a flower pot and decorator touches like brass trim, deeply carpeted lobbies with marble halls have welcomed generations of our residents home. Norwalk apartments recycle more

We strive to recycle more at our Norwalk Apartments and make the Earth a better place

Last month we enjoyed Earth Day, and at our Norwalk apartments we don’t limit being environmentally conscious to just one holiday. For many of us, repurposing and recycling have become second nature as ideas about green living move into the mainstream. Residents of Morningside Gardens in Norwalk have long been practicing good recycling habits. Even so we all probably throw away more than we should. is a great resource for finding ways to recycle more. For instance polystyrene (Styrofoam) isn’t picked up by curbside services, but there are other uses you can find for it, or else a place near you that will recycle it. You can also find places to recycle broken or old electronics, eye glass frames, cell phones, toner cartridges, appliances or junked cars. All of these are items that have a future for someone else, so you can recycle them or you can search for charities and drives in your area that are looking for these items. Read More→
