A New Haven New Year

TheStudyNYE_PostCardnye10From the extraordinary plays at Yale University to the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, the city of New Haven is well know for a constant supply of must-see events. Of course, New Year’s Eve 2009 would be  no exception. Anyone living in or around New Haven, like, for example, the residents of the Hamden apartments Seramonte or the spacious apartments in Branford, Montoya, should already be planning an unforgettable celebration to ring in 2010. Here are just a couple options at your disposal:

An all-inclusive, one-of-a-kind event for two at Yale University’s the Heirloom/The Study. The night begins with a two hour concert at the Shubert Theater featuring the Dennis Edwards and the Temptations. The concert concludes at 11 p.m., giving you plenty of time to get settled into the after party before the countdown to midnight. The after party features an open bar, hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast. Then, just when you think your night of fun has come to an end, you get to enjoy overnight accommodations at The Study with late checkout. This New Year’s Eve event is truly the whole package! The price may overwhelm you, but when you take into consideration all that you get for it, it is a bargain. $395 per couple and reservations are required; call 203-503-3900 to claim your spot.

If you can’t swint the $395 for the Heirloom/Study event, do not fret. Many of New Haven’s signature restaurants, including Caseus, Zinc, Pacifico and more, are offering a special prix fix dinner in honor of New Year’s Eve. Many of the restaurants will also provide live music entertainment for your dining pleasure. The prices vary from $35 per person to $100 per person. No matter where you choose to spend December 31, 2009, just make sure you enjoy yourself! These one-0f-a-kind events are half the fun of having a New Haven apartment.
